The concept of “possibility” as a “group” emerged in February 2014. Together, with an organization’s technical assistance, the “group” carried out the project’s tasks through June 2021.

During July 2021, the group ‘Possibility’ was transformed into an organization “Foundation for Women Possibilities (FWP)” with organizational entity, structure and modality. Now it functions as a women-led, not-for-profit, non-political, non-government feminist organization.

FWP has embarked on this journey with a clear vision, a shared commitment, and an unwavering dedication to the cause of social empowerment and dignity for adolescent girls and young women, regardless of their spectrum and expressions.

The strong representation of young girls and women change-makers in its apex decision-making body along with women-empowerment enthusiasts, diverse women-rights activists, and development professionals echoes our organizational value of inclusivity, respect and to work in a youth-adult partnership modality for establishing gender equity, gender justice, and women’s empowerment in the society.

Since our establishment we have observed the profound impact that our collaborative endeavors can bring about. Our programs and initiatives have been positively influencing the lives of numerous adolescent girls and young women irrespective of their gender spectrum and expressions, offering crucial support and opportunities for their knowledge acquisition and skills development.
